Items, Thoughts, Travel Points and Hotspots ------------------------------------------------- Thought bubble items [T] are about people or events. Much like normal inventory items [I], they can be used to progress the story. Hotspots can be highlighted with the Hotspot Hint Button or the middle mouse button. This makes it easier to find interactable spots. Travel Points can be unlocked in Act 3 and Act 4 to quickly travel to certain areas. || 2. Walkthrough ---------------- A c t 1 - Goodbye University Leave the shed. Go to the lantern near the fountain. TAKE THE CANDLE [I]. Go to the tree stump in the back. TAKE THE KNIFE [I]. Walk towards Watchman Anton to trigger a scene. Enter the dormitory. TALK TO BEN and TELL HIM ANTON WANTS A WORD WITH HIM. Go back to Anton, TALK TO HIM and mention that HE NEEDS TO GO TO BEN HIMSELF. Enter the dormitory and walk up to Ben and Anton. They'll leave. ENTER NIK'S ROOM. PICK UP THE MATCHES. Go back to the shed. USE CANDLE [I] ON THE SUMMONING CIRCLE. USE THE MATCHES [I] ON THE CIRCLE. You now belong to Arakk, and he'll always be with you from now on. You get the thought bubble Arakk [T] and the Soul Form [T]. Go to the sewer entrance in the back. USE ARAKK [T] ON THE SEWER ENTRANCE and enter. USE THE KNIFE ON THE ROOTS IN THE SEWER. TALK TO MASTER ARRAK AND TELL HIM YOU CAN'T CUT THEM. You get the Hellblaze ability [T]. USE HELLBLAZE [T] ON THE KNIFE [I]. Keep walking for a scene, then leave the sewers. Follow the path away from the city. GET A LOG FROM THE LOG STACK UNDER THE TREE TO GET FIREWOOD [I]. Follow the path. PICK UP THE ROCK [I] ON THE BROKEN CART. Go to the old farm. Go to the forest behind it. TAKE 1ST BRANCH. Go in a bit further, and USE ARAKK [T] ON THE 2ND BRANCH ON THE TREE. USE THE KNIFE [I] ON THE DOOR. A scene triggers. Exhaust the upcoming dialogue between Gun and Rok until the game continues. A c t 2 - The Witch, the Demon and the Fort HEAD TOWARDS THE FORT. Nik will collapse, and his soul leaves his body. PICK UP A LEAF [I] TO THE RIGHT. PICK UP THE STONE [I] TO THE LEFT. TAKE THE THREAD [I] FROM NIK'S CLOTHES. USE THE LEAF [I] ON THE SNAIL. TAKE THE BRANCH [I]. USE THE THREAD [I] ON THE BRANCH TO MAKE A SLINGSHOT [I]. USE THE ROCK [I] ON THE SLINGSHOT. USE THE LOADED SLINGSHOT [I] ON THE WOLF. A scene with Arakk triggers. On the next day, your master wants you to find firewood (you already have the needed log and two branches if you followed this guide so far), water and something to eat. GET THE JUG. Walk towards the fort. Enter the small house on the way there. TALK TO THE WITCH and ASK FOR BREAD. She wants some of Arakk's power for it. Go towards the lake behind the witches house. USE JUG ON WATER. Walk up the cliff. USE THE KNIFE [I] ON THE SHINY STONE[I]. USE THE ROCK ON THE SHINY STONE. It falls down. TAKE THE IMMACULATE STONE [I], then USE THE IMMACULATE STONE [I] ON ARAKK. Go the witch and GIVE HER THE STONE WITH ARAKK'S POWER INSIDE [I]. TAKE SOME BREAD [I]. You've got every now, and a scene will trigger. Arakk will go to the fort with you help you free your friend. Go towards the fort. PICK UP THE SAW [I] UNDER THE TREE on the way. USE HELLBALZE [T] ON THE SAW [I]. Near the fort, USE HELLBALZE [T] on the dry bush to distract the soldier. Go to the little stream to the left of the entrance. USE THE POWERED-UP SAW [I] ON THE BARS. Enter the fort. Maker your way to the corner in the upper left without getting seen. USE SOUL FORM [T] ON THE HOLE IN THE WALL. TALK TO THE LIZARD and exhaust the dialogue options until it leaves. Go inside onto the captain's bed. USE THE BOOK to make a bridge. GET THE KEY [I] on the bedside table. Go back outside. USE THE KEY [I] ON THE DOOR NEAR THE GATE and enter. GET THE CELL KEY [I] FROM THE TABLE without getting spotted. USE THE CELL KEY [I] ON THE DOOR and enter it. Walk up to the cell with Rok and Gunnar inside for a scene. USE THE CELL KEY [I] ON THE CELL DOOR. USE THE WINDOW to make your escape. Rok and Gun leave towards Haven. Arakk wants to go see Master Boar, a dragon. A C T 3 - Haven Head west towards Tamson to unlock a travel point. Go to the fisherman's spot. When he looks away, USE THE BUCKET TO GET A FISH [I]. Go through the stone arch to the north. Go north at the crossroads with the bench. USE SOUL FORM [T] ON THE TREE. GET THE LEAF [I]. USE THE LEAF ON THE EGG to push it. GET THE COIN [I]. Leave the tree. Keep heading north. USE THE SAW ON THE ROOTS to get a CURSED ROOT [I]. Go further north and go up the mountain until you find Boar's Lair, which is sealed. YOU GET BOAR'S MAGIC SEAL [T] and a travel point will be unlocked. Go back down the mountain and go west at the crossroads with the bench. Go towards the magic bushes ahead to trigger a scene. Go to Tarim's tent for a scene. USE BOAR'S MAGIC SEAL [T] ON TARIM. He can help you, but needs you to investigate the dead trees in Tamson first. YOU GET TAMSON'S DEAD TREES [T]. TAKE THE FRAGRANCE LAMP [I] from the table. Enter the tavern in Haven and GET THE COIN [I] FROM THE STOOL. Travel to Tamson. Go to the dig site to the east of the town. Head down the ramp. TAKE THE CHAIN [I]. Go further in for a scene, then enter the cave. Go to the carved stone in the back to see the order of columns by size. Push the buttons of the columns in this order: Biggest, Smallest, Second-Biggest, Second-Smallest The stone slab will move a little, but not enough. USE ARAKK [T] ON THE CARVED STONE, and exhaust the dialogue options during the scene. YOU GET AN OLD COIN [I]. Travel to Haven. Enter Goru's shop. USE THE SHOVEL [I] to buy it with the 3 coins you've found. GET THE HANGING FLOWER POT [I] there, as well. Travel to Tamson. USE TAMSON'S DEAD TREES [T] ON THE GUARD to get access to the town. Enter the mayor's house AND TALK TO MAYOR REED. Go outside and USE THE SHOVEL [I] ON THE PATCH OF DIRT under a dead tree. You get BONES UNDER THE DEAD TREES [T]. Go to the mayor. USE BONES UNDER THE DEAD TREES [T] ON MAYOR REED for a scene. You control Thodain for now. Go to the courtyard. PICK UP THE DEAD RAT [I] IN THE WATER. Go back to your room. USE THE DEAD RAT [I] ON THE PLANT. You're back with Nik and Arakk. TRAVEL TO HAVEN. Enter Tarim's tent. USE BONES UNDER THE DEAD TREES [T] ON TARIM. You get the DISPELL SEAL [T] ability. Travel to Boar's Lair. USE DISPELL SEAL [T] on THE SEAL. Enter the lair and go a bit further in for a scene. Enter the cave with the beds to the right in Boar's Lair for a scene. You get FINDING A PROTECTION CHARM [T]. A C T 4 - The Depths Go to the tavern in Haven. USE FINDING A PROTECTION CHARM [T] ON THE SNAKE MAN. He needs you to find distilled water and a sample of the curse. TAKE THE GLASS [I] from the counter. Go towards Rok's tent and USE THE GLASS [I] ON THE LAKE. Go inside Rok's tent and walk up to the distillation unit. USE THE FULL GLASS ON THE BOTTLE ON THE RIGHT SIDE. USE THE GLASS [I] ON THE LAKE again, and go back to the unit. USE THE FULL GLASS ON THE COOLER in the middle. PICK UP THE PHIAL [I] and the BOTTLE [I]. USE THE BOTTLE ON THE STAND ON THE LEFT SIDE. USE HELLBLAZE ON THE CANDLE to get a BOTTLE WITH DISTILLED WATER [I]. Go to the snake man in the tavern. GIVE HIM THE DISTILLED WATER [I] and the CURSED ROOT [I], after a scene, Arakk gets the protection charm. Go to Boar's Lair and USE THE PHIAL ON MASTER BOAR to get DRAGON BLOOD [I]. Go down the path and head go east (opposite of the path leading to Boar's Lair) to the dark cave. With the protection charm, Arakk can head inside with you. GO TO THE HOLE IN THE WALL in the south-east. USE SOUL FORM [T] ON THE HOLE. Inside there, adjust the cogs until they all line up. The gate to the north opens. Head east through the cave, and a bear man will block your path. USE FISH [I] ON BEAR MAN and he'll let you through. Go further east and go down the hole. Enter the tunnel. USE ARAKK [T] ON THE GLOWING MUSHROOMS to get some. USE THE GLOWING MUSHROOMS [I] ON THE HANGABLE FLOWER POT [I]. USE THE CHAIN [I] ON THE FLOWER POT [I]. Go to the hook above the dark area. USE THE GLOWING FLOWER POT WITH THE CHAIN [I] ON THE HOOK. Proceed further down. On the bridge, TAKE THE OLD BUCKET [I]. Head further north-west in the ruins for a scene. ENTER THE BUILDING ON THE WEST. USE THE ARMOR for a scene. USE THE ARMOR again to get an OVAL STONE [I]. TAKE THE BOOK [I] ON THE BED. Go back outside and head into the library (north-east). Go towards the dragon statue for a scene. USE OVAL STONE [I] ON THE DRAGON STATUE. After a scene, you control Arakk. Go outside and go to the fountain. TAKE BRANCHES [I]. Go into the library and USE THE BRANCHES [I] ON THE BOWL near Nik. Go to the book row on the upper right and GET THE OLD PAPER [I] on the table. USE THE OLD PAPER [I] ON THE BOWL. USE HELLBLAZE ON THE BOWL. Go to the book row on the upper left and USE THE BOOK SHELF to learn about BREATHING EXERCISES [T]. USE BREATHING EXERCISES [T] ON NIK for a scene. Nik is back in control. USE THE DRAGON'S LEFT HORN. TAKE THE BOOK [I] behind the statue. Go to the book row on the upper left and TAKE THE BOOK [I]. Look at the books to get an idea what they're about. USE THE GREEN BOOK ON THE SPOT ON THE SHELF IN THE UPPER RIGHT BOOK ROW. USE THE RED BOOK ON THE SPOT ON THE SHELF IN THE LOWER LEFT BOOK ROW. USE THE BLUE BOOK ON THE SPOT ON THE SHELF IN THE LOWER RIGHT BOOK ROW. Go up the stairs behind the dragon statue. USE HELLBLAZE ON THE CARPET. USE ARRAK [T] ON THE PANEL under it. Enter the secret passage that just opened. Head towards the cave in the back. USE THE OLD BUCKET [I] ON THE SKELETON and you can proceed. Go further in. Goraia will block your path. USE DRAGON BLOOD [I] ON THE FRAGRANCE LAMP [I]. USE HELLBLAZE [T] ON THE FRAGRANCE LAMP [I]. USE THE LIT FRAGRANCE LAMP [I] ON THE BROKEN COLUMN and Goraia will disappear for now. Head further in, and down the ramp. After a scene, Arakk is in control and you get the ability SOUL MERGE [T]. USE SOUL MERGE [T] ON NIK. Inside Nik's memories, go right and TALK TO NIK. Enter the door that opens. In Nik's room, GET ONE OF NIK'S DRAWINGS [I], then TALK TO NIK. Proceed to the right through the door. Keep going east for a scene. TAKE THE WOODEN DRAGON [I]. Head east into the barn. USE NIK'S DRAWING [I] ON NIK and them USE THE WOODEN DRAGON [I] on him, as well. TALK TO NIK and say you're going to slap some sense into him. After a scene, Nik is back in control. Go north-west towards the lake and the beach. USE THE LEAF [I] ON THE CURRENT. USE SOUL FORM [T] ON THE CURRENT. Go south and take some DRY MUD [I]. USE DRY MUD [I] ON WATER. Go towards the ramp with the skeleton. USE DRY MUD [I] ON THE SKELETON and head up the ramp. Go south-east and GET THE ROCK [I]. Go north up the ramp and TALK TO THE SNAKE. Ask him why he's down here. Then tell him that you're ready to check his insides. PICK UP THE NAIL [I] inside his belly and leave. Head down the ramp and go up the roots towards the dark crystal, and head up the ramp there. Go further up to find Black's foot. USE THE NAIL [I] ON BLACK'S FOOT. USE THE ROCK [I] ON BLACK'S FOOT. Go to the dark crystal. USE HELLBLAZE ON THE CRYSTAL. After some scenes, you'll have to decide Thodain's fate. || 3.
